Terms & Conditions

By placing an order on this website, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

General
These terms apply to all orders placed through who-invented-the-circle.com. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

Products
All our products are handcrafted. As a result, minor variations in shape, texture, and detail are inherent to the nature of the work and should be expected — no two pieces are exactly alike.

Colours and texture may vary from images shown on screen due to differences in display settings and the nature of the actual fabric.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or correct pricing errors at any time.

Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in GBP (£). We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and Google Pay. Full payment must be received before an order is dispatched. We reserve the right to cancel any order in the event of a pricing error, with a full refund issued.

Shipping
Orders are processed and dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, or circumstances beyond our control.

Import Duties & Taxes
For orders shipped within the United Kingdom

UK VAT is included in the price shown at checkout. No additional charges will be due on delivery.

For orders shipped within the European Union

Two options are available at checkout:

  • Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — VAT and import duties are calculated and collected at checkout. No additional charges will be due on delivery.
  • Duties not included — Import duties, customs taxes, and local VAT are not collected at checkout and will be the sole responsibility of the customer, collected by your local customs authority at the point of delivery.

For all other destinations

Import duties, customs taxes, and local VAT are not included in the price shown and are the sole responsibility of the customer. These charges are determined and collected by your local customs authority at the point of delivery. We are unable to predict, pre-pay, or reimburse these costs.

Unclaimed & Refused Shipments

If a parcel is returned to us because import duties or taxes were not paid by the customer, or because the shipment was refused or unclaimed at customs, the following conditions apply:

  • The original shipping cost is non-refundable
  • Any return shipping fees or customs charges incurred will be deducted from any store credit issued
  • Store credit will only be issued once the parcel has been received and inspected by us
  • If the parcel is abandoned at customs and not returned to us, no refund or store credit will be issued

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable local law.

Returns
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached and no customer-caused damage. Return postage costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. We are unable to cover customs duties or taxes on return shipments. To initiate a return, contact us at mailto:info@who-invented-the-circle.com within the 15-day window.

For international returns (outside the UK)

When returning your order, please mark the customs form as “RETURNED GOODS” with a declared value of £0. Failure to do so may result in customs charges being applied to the return, which we are unable to cover.

Refunds
Once a return is received and inspected, refunds are issued as store credit (gift card) to the email address associated with your order. We do not issue cash or card refunds. Items that do not meet the return conditions will be sent back to the customer.

Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be returned for store credit. Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.
